MinerbaOne is a digital system that integrates +-16 mining services in one centralized platform. This platform is designed to increase transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for government and industry players in monitoring, managing, and reporting mining activities in Indonesia.
Our role as design partners on this project is to design and develop an intuitive user interface for All features. This project presents a public representation of my role on this project. All confidential or restricted information has been adjusted or locked to maintain privacy and regulatory compliance.

During our involvement in the MinerbaOne project, we conducted an in-depth study by interviewing various stakeholders in the mining industry. Specifically, we discussed with representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, mining companies, and industry regulators to understand the main challenges in production management, licensing, and operational monitoring.

The results of this research are summarized in a research report containing key findings and UX design recommendations to ensure the MinerbaOne platform can be easily adopted by all stakeholders.

The MinerbaOne design process was complex as it involved multiple stakeholders, including governments, mining companies, and industry regulators. Designing a platform that could be used by all parties with different needs was a huge challenge, but also the most rewarding experience of my career.

We designed an integrated workflow to enable real-time collaboration and operational monitoring. In addition, we built a scalable design system in Figma, which is not only used for MinerbaOne but can also be applied in future mining product development.
